Simons Industrial Repairs was established in 1995
Simon initially was a true mobile mechanic based from home he travelled throughout the South East and Western Victoria working on site to service and repair mainly forklifts and tractors from his 4WD mobile repair vehicle.
Demand for more detailed mechanical repairs saw the need for a workshop to do major repairs. He was offered space at Ritana Rd workshop and in 2004 leased the premises in its entirety; Donna started bookkeeping at this time as the workload was increasing.
Soon more space was required, and the current premises at 1 Graham Road were purchased in 2006.The premises consists of a large workshop area, a Parts area, a showroom/products area and offices.
SIR has built up its service/repair section, acquired a prime mover flat top and low loader trailers to meet the demand for transporting large equipment for repair or relocation and the retail products is a growing area with buggies ATV UTV motor bikes and small hobby farm equipment over flowing the showroom.
SIR provides a variety of mechanical services to local industries and employs several staff, mechanics, apprentice mechanic, workshop assistants and a driver for the prime mover.
Simon Co-ordinates and oversees the workshop staff and allocates repair work, the mobile service vehicles and the contracts for the prime mover. Donna manages the office, showroom and small parts section of the business
